New vehicle sales turn positive

As foreshadowed in our report on Carsales on 11 November, new vehicle sales in Australia turned positive in November after 31 months of year on year declines.

Changes to lending laws, combined with weak consumer confidence and finally the impacts from COVID-19 all conspired to create a terrible run for the industry.
