Companies that produce large amounts of free cash flow relative to their market capitalisation often prove to be good investments, as long as the cash flows can be maintained.

Free cash flow is defined as operating cash flow minus capital expenditure. We use last reported full-year operating cash flow and capex to calculate free cash flow, and then express it as a percentage of current market capitalisation to derive free cash flow yield.
